Navigating the lush landscapes of Western Frontier in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora presents players with numerous intriguing side activities that expand the game's rich lore. Among these optional quests, The Sound of Night - Part 2 stands out as a unique investigation into mysterious noises disturbing local Na'vi clan members. Completing this objective rewards players with valuable skill points and Clan Favor to strengthen their character build.
Starting the Quest and Talking to Ley'Taw
To begin this side mission, head to the River's Run camp in the Silk Woods region and speak with Ley'Taw. She explains that a strange nocturnal sound is scaring the children and asks for your assistance in locating its origin. Since the sound occurs only at nighttime, use the nearby resting spot at the camp to advance time until dark.
Finding the Hidden Cave Entrance
Travel east from River's Run camp toward the western section of River's Embrace. Look for three large rock formations in the center of the area and head toward the base of the middle structure. Instead of searching the top of the rock, search along the southern base where glowing Stromsky Bamboo stalks mark the cave entrance.
Investigating the Noise and Reaching Nilngan
Enter the cave and follow the linear pathway as it winds deeper into the mountain structure. When you reach a larger chamber with a Lift Vine, take the right hand path through the tight walkway. At the end of the tunnel, you will discover Nilngan playing a unique Kame'tire instrument, which generated the mysterious sounds.
Completing the Mission and Claiming Rewards
Speak with Nilngan to learn more about the situation and explore the surrounding room for additional loot. Make sure to check the area behind Nilngan for a Sarentu Mural and search nearby baskets for valuable gear mods. Fast travel back to River's Run camp to speak with Ley'Taw, concluding the quest to gain your skill point and Clan Favor rewards.
